Erika King, SHRM-CP, Human Resources Manager
Driven by the goal to work for a non-profit organization in a business setting, Erika attended Lebanon Valley College for a year enrolled in Business Communication courses. After a year at Lebanon Valley, she then pursed her passion for art and transferred to the Art Institute of York to obtain an Associate’s in Graphic Design.
While Erika’s path to the Human Resources field was less than direct, she quickly discovered and re-kindled her goal of working for a non-profit after landing her first role as an HR Assistant for a large manufacturing company in 2012.
In 2016, Erika found the perfect role that combined both of her passions and joined Folium as the HR Representative/Graphic Designer. In 2020, Folium helped Erika obtain the SHRM-CP Certification (Society for Human Resource Management- Certified Professional) and has since transitioned into the role of HR Generalist in 2022, and now promoted to HR Manager.
