Looking for an effective way to provide clinical interventions for a child or adolescent with behavioral needs?
Designed for children and adolescents between the ages of 3 and 21 who have been diagnosed with a behavioral health diagnosis, IBHS provides intensive therapeutic support within the child’s natural environment.
AN INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH
IBHS Individual Services provide personalized treatment in a familiar setting with the goals of promoting independence, decreasing problem behaviors and increasing positive social interactions. Services include:
Mobile Therapist (MT) - The MT provides individual therapy with the child as well as family treatment or therapy with other caregivers in home or school settings.
Behavior Consultant (BC) - The BC designs and directs the implementation of the treatment plan, monitors treatment provided by the BHT and ensures the delivery of quality services.
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) - The BHT provides one-on-one behavioral intervention in school, home, or community settings.
MAKING AN IMPACT
Throughout IBHS, the treatment team collaborates to empower individuals and their families with skills and expertise that promote independence and reduce problem behaviors. The clinicians collect and analyze data to create a behavior plan that is specific to your child's needs. The tailored goals and objectives are routinely reviewed for success, measured by:
• Increases in pro-social behavior
• Improvements in positive self-management skills
• Reductions in out-of-home placements
• Improvement in caregiver skills to help stabilize the home environment and initiate constructive, long term change
GETTING STARTED
Following an initial assessment, our Behavior Consultants and Mobile Therapists develop an individual treatment plan, addressing the unique treatment needs of your child. These services may take place in the home, at school, or in community settings. IBHS Individual Services are funded through PA Medical Assistance.
